About the Summit

As the Biden-Harris Administration continues to advance its National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, in partnership with Food Tank, held a Summit on June 20th, 2023 to support the Strategy’s implementation, specifically through Food is Medicine approaches. This Summit focused on Pillar 2 (Integrating nutrition and health) and Pillar 5 (Enhancing nutrition and food security research) of the National Strategy. Proceedings from the event are anticipated to be published later this year.
