About the Summit
On April 26th & 27th, The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and the Food & Nutrition Innovation Institute at Tufts University, supported by Kaiser Permanente, Bia-Echo Foundation, the HAND Foundation, Seeding the Future, and The Rockefeller Foundation, hosted the Food Is Medicine (FIM) National Summit. The Summit brought together approximately 225 healthcare system leaders, providers, investors, policy makers, and patients with lived experience and featured keynote speakers, panel discussions, and conversations centered around reimbursable, food-based, health interventions. Proceedings from the event are anticipated to be published later this year.
